Frequently Asked Questions

Can I use Inspection Pit Crew for just one inspection?

Yes. Pit Crew is designed to provide support when you need it, whether that is for a single larger property, a difficult access situation or an ancillary service you do not offer in-house.

What is an Inspection Assist?

An Inspection Assist provides an additional experienced inspector when a property is larger, more complex or more time-sensitive than you want to handle alone. It gives you extra field support without adding permanent staff.

What is a Ladder Assist?

A Ladder Assist provides additional help and equipment when a roof or elevated area cannot be safely accessed with your standard setup. It can be especially useful on taller or more difficult properties.

Does Inspection Pit Crew replace me as the primary inspector?

No. You remain the primary inspector and the main relationship with your client. Pit Crew provides additional support or specialized services around your inspection.

What ancillary services can Inspection Pit Crew provide?

Available services include radon testing, sewer scope inspections, chimney inspections, drone inspections and thermal imaging, along with other specialized inspection support depending on the property and scope.

Do I need to purchase specialized equipment to offer these services?

No. One of the main benefits of Pit Crew is being able to offer additional services without purchasing equipment, adding specialized training or maintaining staff for services you may only need occasionally.

Can I use Pit Crew on larger or more complex inspections?
